What makes the Heartl part of the SD content situation further annoying is that Heartl himself is a Shocker alum, and former b-baller at the Eck under Geriatric Gene.

Yeah I watched Heartl play baseball at WSU (though he didn't play much).

But Lutz is also a WSU grad.

It's too bad they wasted 2 hours of their show today. Wichita is enjoying this NIT ride, too bad Lutz and Heartl can't too.

Got a email this morning stating ALL WSU fans should buy tickets to the game (gate is going to USC I guess) and show up wearing yellow and bawk like chickens the whole game.

When it gets to the end and the chant starts, over power this nationally televised game with "Rock, Challk, CHICKENhawk, play W-S-U"

After listening to Sports Daily last week, I really do not at all like the idea of Bruce Haertl doing play-by-play for Shocker games. Since when did he turn into one of those KU prigs? Is he trying to be one of the fellas out at the country club? I saw him on Sports Sunday, after KU got manhandled, and switched the channel immediately. It's gotten that bad.

Bruce and Bob aren't the greatest sports talk guys in the world, but they are there in NY. Unfortunately, it isn't Shocker SoundOff, or the Mike Kennedy pregame show. It's a Wichita sports talk show. They gotta be open to everything.

My biggest issue wasn't what they talked about. They spread the wealth pretty well between the Shox, Cats, and Hawx, but their egotistical representation that their thoughts on the matter are right, everyone else's is wrong, and they would cut them off and end the call.

Oh, I've definitely switched the channel. Don't worry about that. I'm backing up what the other guy said- You tune in for the first time in a millenium to get some Shox postseason talk from a Wichita sports show, and you get five minutes worth.. five minutes.
