Where are the defensive stats? I heard NU holds their opponents to 60ppg...
Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.
    Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.

      RPI of 87.

      8th in the Big 12.
Nebraska makes the paceof the game slow.
Less possessions give them less opportunity for points/boards/assists.

From the few games I've seen, they are a good defensive team. It's gonna be difficult to score close to the basket - not unlike the indiana state game.

Our team has been working on offense in practice all week.
I think we'll have nice movement, and a few tricks up our sleeve.

      I'm predicting a win.

I would love to see that match up!
You might get 20 minutes of that matchup if the NCAA quickly changes the rule to allow 10 fouls before fouling out.

Hoops week for ShockBand. Will be going up to the evening session in Hutch Tuesday night, then at CKA for the Shocks game Wednesday night.

I think charging $23 and $25 is going to result in lowered attendance, given the disappointment among the fan base. Dropping those $5-$8 ea. would have been better, IMO.

I agree with you. Even though if I miss the UNL game it would be because I was at the Shocker baseball game and not anything to do with the ticket prices.

After looking at the NIT bracket, I'm very happy about getting the Huskers.

SMS can't be that happy about Murray State. Other than those Baldknobbers having their "Murray isn't a State" signs ready to go.

I just checked the sites of the other Valley teams in post season play to see what they are charging and it is a lot less:

Missouri State (NIT) Lower bowl- $20, Upper Bowl- $7
Creighton (CBI)- Lower bowl- $20, Upper Bowl $10
UNI (CIT)- Lower level- $10, Upper Level -$5
                    Evansville (CBI)- All tickets $15

It is also interesting that all five Valley teams in other post season tourneys got home games.

Everybody else is changing less but I still think we have a good chance of out drawing them.

I think WSU should have a bigger spread between the lower level tickets and the upper level tickets. Something like $25 and $10. That might open the game up for a lot more people.

I know those are normal ticket prices for SWOMO, probably normal for Creighton, maybe lower for UNI. But it's not like SWOMO is lowering ticket prices just because it's the postseason, it's because they need the prices to be that low just to get over 5000 people to their regular games.

I say we stack up nicely.
Uh yeah, this was against MVC competition. Apples and oranges here.

naw, almeida cant even go 20 min a game. still out of shape from his surgery (think it was an appendectomy).

teams are fairly evenly matched. i'd lean to wsu having the advantage on the inside while unl might be a little better in the backcourt. difference in the game just might come down to who has the better point guard play.

I worry that this team really doesn't want to play in the NIT. Nebraska will come out strong... hope the Shox get pumped up for the game.
