I agree with your sentiments. I personally believe this program has lost it swagger and lacks confidence. I hope at some point they get it back.

The stuff that happened at CU on Sunday in the come back win used to happen all the time. Teams would just fold under the pressure of WSU because they didn't think they could win.

Yes I would be surprised to see WSU receive a 2 seed. If WSU is a 2-seed then they are at-large team. WSU is the 2nd place team in the 16th ranked conference with a RPI 62 - that is not the recipe for being an at-large bid.

2 Seeds last year by RPI: 28, 15, 32, 38, 22, 25, 27, 24, 39, 37, 6, 31, 13, 19, 12, 21

4 Seeds last year by RPI: 142, 134, 91, 102, 158, 67, 146, 176, 83, 118, 154, 177, 93, 180, 121, 96

We won't have 40 wins unless we make a SR? By my calculations if we win tomorrow and win the Valley Tourney (Both very doable) we'll be at 39 wins. So if 1 win puts us deep in a SR, they must have changed the format.

WSU played LOTS of non-division 1 games each year in the 70s and 80s. They played so many games during some of those years that they might have hit 40 division 1 games one or two years anyway, but most of those years they definitely did not. :wsu_posters:
