  • Shox vs. Pokes - Part Deux

Shox beat the 'pokes 9-6 on 4/6/2010 in a rain shortened game (7 innings).

Tonight, Tim Kelley will get the start in a pre-determined split. We'll see several pitchers try to hold the fort.

The wind is galing out of the south. It could be an adventure. Let's hope the bats keep rolling from Tuesday.

One has to think that TK is likely to struggle tonight. He is a flyball pitcher.....hasn't been on his A game in some time.....doesn't look good for pitching tonight I am afraid.

I would love to see Tim get on his game. He has not looked real sharp most of this year.

Not expecting another 22-run outburst by the Shocks but I think we will score more than a few.

Tim may be working himself out of the weekend rotation.

We may end up with Cooper, Smith and Mateychick as our weekend rotation.

Somethings gotta be wrong with his health. I'm pretty sure he followed up last year with a great summer. So I don't think last year was a mistake.

Tim seems to have found it all of a sudden. Let's hope he can go another inning or two. I think Gene said he was on about a 60 pitch limit.

We sure seem to give up a lot of 1st inning runs. Not sure what to make of that. Makes you wonder if the guys are getting loose enough in their pre-game routine.

It's nice still to have our 3 hottest relievers available for tonight. Would like to see Cobey pitch next.

Too bad the uniform start date isn't April 24.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I have to give it to Baez, I thought he wouldn't change but has.

Only time he seems to hit pop flys is when he needs one for a sac fly. Outside of that he has done a great job just driving the ball. Hopefully he can keep it up.

I will gladly continue to eat my words, this is great!
