8-3 Shox after 2 RBI Baez single. This is so much more fun to watch when our offense comes alive and pitching settles down. Lets keep this up!

Bases loaded with 2 outs. Get a big hit and blow this game open. Lets go Springer  !

12-3 after five after Springer shows everybody that he found the sale on salami and got some for himself.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Another solid win. I didn't get to see all of the game on Shockervision.
It seems WSU gives up some early runs before they settle in, but the bats are swingin' well...

What a fantastic couple of games. I may have had more fun at these two than at the rest of the home games combined. Truly awesome.

Now that our players know what they are capable of, let's hope they can sustain this thing. Couldn't have asked for a better lead-in for the showdown in Normal.

My hopes are inching upwards. This weekend will dictate how out of control (or not) they become.

Great two days. Let's hope we can point to these two games as the turn around to a successful season.

The Shox will need a sweep in Normal to have a chance to control their own destiny for a league title.

I love how Kelley settled down and pitched some quality innings. Now we need to take this show on the road and prove that we can win away from the Eck.

Bingo. And against the team they are TRAILING for a conference title.

It was nice to see WSU come out with some pop again. I thought after the 1st inning that their confidence would get rattled and this was gonna be a blowout the other way.

Bullpen pitching still blows, but hey at least we're winning some midweek games again.

                              ... No really, deuces.

13-7 Another great win. Tim Kelley really settled down and pitched well after a shaky start.

Logan Hoch came in and pitched great again. Our hitters came through big time again and we played good defense.

I loved the grand slam! That is 2 in 2 days and 5 on the season. We only hit one grand slam all of last season.

One other point, Okie St is #2 in the big 12 in hitting. So on a day when the wind is blowing out like a 100 mph (at least it felt like it), giving up 7 runs to the big 12's #2 hitting team is also a pretty good sign.

I am looking forward to this weekend! Let's beat down some red birds!
