At the time, the offensive production was what it was. It was a mid-game observation and nothing more. And at the time, it wasn't very good. Glad to see them mashing it better this inning!
That's fine, I just hope some of you aren't expecting perfection all year long. I know I'll have to remind myself of that thought as well, but my goodness, it's game 4 of the season and the game wasn't even over yet.

    9-1 after 6.

I hear ya SF. Sometimes we all need to be able to differentiate between expectations and observations. But after last year, it's going to be natural to recoil a bit when the offense struggles, especially against inferior opponents.

Lassley goes yard. 3 HR for him already.

Royal, next time they're struggling, make sure to point it out. The reverse-jinx works!

I like how Shane muttered 'look out' right when Lassley hit it.

Lassley an absolute BOMB nearly over the scoreboard to make it 10-1 in the 7th.

I was critical of this team a lot over the years Royal, but I fail to see the offense as "struggling". I realize it was an "at-the-time" comment, but the game is 9 innings long, not 3.

Cody crushes his 3rd home of the year to the Top of scoreboards to put the Shocks into double figures for the 4th consecutive game.

Shockers are not crushing the ball quite as consistently as they did in Mobile but they have taken advantage of some charity doled out by North Dakota.

The big plus in this game has been the pitching of Josh and Remington.

              :good: :goshocks:

They need to get a freshman pitcher or two in for the rest of this game.

Harbutz with his 1st career homer.

I think were going to like this kid.

Shocks hammering the NDU bullpen now up 13-1.

2 run homer to right by Harbutz... 13-1.

Let's hope we all learn to not make judgments too early in games this year, present company included. :good:

What kind of wind do we have today?

Last year we could not buy a homer unless we had a gail blowing out.
