The point you WSU fans miss is that WSU baseball is far, far down the sports news list anywhere in our state outside of a 60 mile radius of Wichita. I certainly understand why it's big here as it's the only sport WSU has any tradition of consistent excellence in but elsewhere college baseball is just not news. The fact the WSU radio network consists of just one radio station serves as proof.
And please don't tell me that WSU men's basketball has tradition. Their total of 8 (only 8!) NCAA appearances is the same as the number of Elite Eight appearances that the KSU program that many of you here make fun of. And KU blows that away.
Hell yes I'm glad that the 'Cats are doing well in baseball but I am much more interested in the return of HCBS and the continuing return of KSU mens basketball to national prominence.
And I'll take purple over yellow and black. Nothing like having the same colors as about 500 other schools - very creative. Really stands out.

You are very much wrong (as always) on a lot of what you typed. Who is saying college baseball is more prominent than college football or basketball? Where did you get that from? Once again, that is your inferiority complex coming out of the work.
On the radio station issue, that's about as dorky to point out as they come. Anyone with access to the internet can listen to a WSU game for FREE, a luxury not offered at Aggie Tech U. In addition to basketball, numerous baseball, volleyball, and other 'non-power' athletic programs are broadcast locally, and regionally on our tv networks. Kitty State sees a few regionally broadcast, but that's because the Big 12 carries the broadcast, which has nothing to do with Aggie Tech U.
Kitten State has no tradition in any of their sports.. football, basketball, baseball, etc. How many Final Fours has Kitten State had? When was the last time Kitten State made the Sweet 16? What has Kitten State done in basketball since 2002 compared to WSU? Shut your piehole already.
Kitten State football is in shambles and the years of mediocrity have been fun to watch. Snyder is making a big mistake trying to bring back a traditional Big 12 coat tail rider. Basketball national prominence? ROFL.. Thanks for the laughs.
Are you really coming in here, whining about your not-so-masculine university colors? Woo. You stick out for having a feminine low-tier coloring scheme. Yay you.
So in conclusion Goddard Cat, you have accomplished nothing here or anywhere else your insecure presence has roamed the internets. Kitten State athletics will continue to be at the bottom of the barrel in state sports coverage and will continue to ride the coat tails of the Big 12, as if to say you jokes have some sort of superior edge in, well, anything..
Insecurity runs rampant. Good day Goddard Kitten.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

But I'm sure it's popular among the factory worker bandwagon WSU fans.

There is room for two state flagship schools in Kansas, and those schools are KU and WSU. It's time for the Kittens to climb into the backseat - it's too crowded with three in the front. You represent every backward, provincial, hayseed stereotype of Kansas. You guys are a bunch of clowns. No wonder Lon Kruger left. What was the real reason Dana Altman left K-State?

LOL but Bowling IS a professional sport. Unlike Equestrian (as far as I know)
Other sports that aren't Olympic sports: baseball, football, golf... 8)

Veritas is an idiot. Ive seen your tired schtick of KSU not belonging in the Big12 so on and so forth. Better yet, the ol KSU greatly benefitted from WSU folding their football tent. Tell me, why is KU out of that one? Just cause they continued to suck for years after? BTW, KSU has actually won the Big12 in football, I don't recall KU even winning the north. But why am I talking football with a idiot like you whose school gave up on football thanks to the great Lou Perkins.
Now, baseball... Its a nice little niche sport for a school like WSU. Bigger metropolitan area. Lots of non-student fans who can hang out for a game without traveling to/from distant cities. Better yet, very little investment required, at least in the past. I mean how many schollies are allowed? Thats a pretty good indication how important the sport is. BTW, no one really cares much about KSU baseball. Not much coverage. But we still kicked WSUs ass! hahaha
BTW, I may go to the OSU game tomorrow. Get in for 5 bucks and maybe catch one of the dozen or so balls hit over the wall by OSU.
Equestrian is a nice niche sport for KSU. Wouldn't expect you shockes to understand, it is a sport generally reserved for the elite. Now if we had a monster truck team, you all would get it.
Now, I'm sure an idiot like you doesn't have a clue what universities are really for, but KSU has much to be proud. Im sure you dont want to debate that issue, you should stick to baseball.
Now, RickyBooby, stereotypes? You do know that WSU can boast that one alumni was involved in flying some airplanes into some buildings back on 9-11-2001. Im sure he was the only Jihady to go to Hillside High.

BTW, when was KSU last national championship in NCAA sports? What about their last Sweet 16 appearance in NCAA B-ball tournament?
