Don't count Cooper out as an everyday player next year ether.

What position do you think he would play if he was an everyday player?

I could see him as either a DH or in the outfield. I saw him play at the 5A state tourney and everything he hit was a rocket and was very impressed with his athleticism. I think he could be a very special player here at Wichita State.

I was impressed with Tim Kelley on Sunday, especially in contract to Anthony Capra.

Seemed like every pitch Tim made had some movement on it. On the other hand Anthony could only throw his fastball for a strike, and his location and movement were not great.

Hopefully, Anthony can get back on top of his game or he won't last long in the pros. Here is hoping that he gets things corrected and gets his mind right in fairly quick fashion.

If Kelley can continue to improve his command he looks like he can be a very effective pitcher for the Shocks. He has a very live arm and nice movement on his pitches.

Anywhere he wants to. Lets just say if DC comes back, there will be no shortage of quality middle infielders, and a couple of them could move to the corner.

I am not too excited about Coleman switch hitting this summer.

I would think Smith is probably getting paid next year.

Of all the new guys, I'm most psyched to see Charlie Lowell pitch next fall.

Here's his senior season, as described by the St. Charles paper ....

"Winfield southpaw and major-league prospect Charlie Lowell had one of the best seasons by a pitcher this side of Tim Melville. In 58 innings, Lowell struck out 129 batters and allowed just 16 hits and four runs, only one of which was earned."

Charlie is playing this summer for the Rawlings Prospects "Reed" team.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

                              ― Chris Stirewalt

Second base looks wide open for who wants it.

                                Catcher: Lassley

                                First: McKeever, Engrav

                                Shortstop: Grimes

                                Third: Williams, O'Brien

                                Left: Hall

                                Center: Jones

                                Right: Caster

Second: Brown, Sisney, Sossamon, Beaz ?

Hope the young pitchers come along we may need low scoring games.
