Something tells me any bulldog performances just won't cut it this weekend. Everyone better be on top of their game or else...

Is the draft on TV, and if so, what time does it start?

I'm gonna have to try and follow it online. I believe one of the ESPNs will show the first round and the sandwich picks.

1pm on ESPN2 is what I just saw at the Royals site.

I think it's cool that ESPN has decided to cover the MLB draft. Covering 1 round is pretty weak. They have like nine weeks of NFL draft coverage.

Anyway, you can't beat the mlb draft conference call.

Is there anywhere I can follow every pick online? I'm at work and have limited capabilities. I'm playing around at the MLB site but I'm not sure I'm finding what I'm hoping for.

Thanks Charlie. I'd been there but wasn't sure if it was what I was looking for or not. I guess the draft doesn't actually start for almost 4 hours I should just relax. :D

Also, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a list of names of the HS kids we have coming in who may get drafted. I admit I don't follow baseball recruiting that closely but I'd like to be able to keep an eye out.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

If we get it hard in the draft in regards to pitching, someone please tell me what our weekend rotation is going to be next year?

                            Fri. Tim Kelley....

Fully healthy, I think there's an excellent chance Maldonado could be our top returning pitcher next season. Kelley, Fugett, Hutson, and Maune all have some starting experience. It will be our most unsettled pitching staff in memory for sure.
