Another bonehead coaching move. Hoch obviously was out of gas. He pitches a great game and gets embarrassed.

        Wow.

We actually hit the ball and score runs and now we can't pitch it out. We can find any way to lose a game now.

If this does indeed turn out to be an L, I will be banning myself from this site for a good week. (I know that may not be a bad thing for some/most of you).

Great pitching by Logan Hoch. Who closes???
          That was prophetic.

Come on - bring in Womak so we can just end this game here.

No jinx here. No closer, yes!

Good effort by Logan but he is a good for one time through the line up guy. Unfortunately Gene and Brent apparently have no confidence in anyone else available tonight to close out a game.

And this game and momentum is circling the drain round and round like a terd in the toilet and about to be flushed. OU has all the momentum now and how emotional devastating do the boyz feel now having blown two games in the 9th having a 3 run lead.

As closers go, Dusty Coleman is a really good shortstop.

Sorry, I learned from basketball that you've got to maintain something resembling a sense of humor when a promising season tanks.

I know that was a tough play, but damnnnn.. how many times have I seen Dusty do that this year?

                      Wow.

And as I type, the tying run reaches second on a wild throw.

We're really trying to blow this one.

Does anyone still think we deserve to host a regional?

You got to feel bad for the players when the coaches just quit coaching and making rational decisions.

Don't get me started on this one.

For the record, can anyone explain why vs. K-State Tyler Hill was brought in the game as a PH to SACRIFICE (which he did), and then the next best option for another PH was a PITCHER??? Are we thinking ahead, guys? Let the pitcher attempt the sacrifice and bring your SENIOR up to bat with the runner in scoring position!!!

Other than the wild throw on the pick off attempt Justin Kemp looked pretty solid.

                            Almost looked like a closer.
