Too bad it doesn't always copy over to the fans.
I guess I'm not as gifted as you in thinking we won the game with the bases loaded, with 1 out, and up 1.

    Crucify me now already.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

      Btw..

Let's just say I'm very impressed our midweek pitching allowed only 2 ER's in a rivalry game.

Now it's time to pounce on some Sooner.

I tell you what though, those KSU players sure can lay the bunt and sacrifice well. I wish we could do that as well as they do. Great win guys.

We are lucky to have him, Kennedy and Terry Elliot.
I agree and while we're at it I really thought Reuben Kerbs did a very good job as well.

I'm not sure my old ticker can take another night like the past two... Shockers, please blow-out OU tomorrow night or we might have another RIP Shockernetter.

Well, that was fun and interesting. Now lets hope they break out the bats for the Sooners tomorrow. Got to like how the pitching came through tonight.

Agree, it was a great win. Any road win is. And our guys have done a terrific job of executing, moving runers over type ball all year and deserve credit for doing so.

Does anybody know why Workman was replaced by Brown? And on that note, good work by the freshman to get that DBP started in the 9th.

I think he was in there to lay down a sac bunt (maybe Workman isn't too good at doing that). Once he got a strike against him, I think we was allowed to swing away. I could be wrong though.

I thought Mark Wagers did a very good job behind the plate, very consistent. Those pitches were right there on the corners. That's why you don't go up looking for a walk. If you strike out 3 times in a game, it's nobodys fault but your own. The call at home plate was a tough call, yes, on replay, you can clearly tell there was no tag, but they don't have the advantage of replay like we do. Things happen so fast you have to make a quick decision, those bang bangers are tough to call. you win some, you lose some. And Shocker fans definitely shouldn't be complaing about bang bang plays, especially after that gift of an over rule we got against UC Irvine at first base in the super regionals.

He was consistent at something, but it wasn't calling balls and strikes.

in my opinion he was. better than some umpires we've had in the past. I'll take most of the umpires in this area over any of the valley umpires for sure

Does Wagers still do Valley games?
