However, anything can be negotiated and the fact that they have stated they are working out the details would indicate some kind of a negotiated settlement probably with a non-disclosure provision is being worked out. So we may never find out what underlying events precipitated this. Some possibilities come to mind but I will say there is no where near the information leaking this time around which is probably a good thing. I, too, agree that a lack of information leaking is a good thing, primarily for any player(s) involved and maybe Jody. Pure speculation, but I think Jody may need more than a team shrink and getting away from the grind of coaching would greatly help her. Short of this, I'm not as forgiving and would hope she does not resurrect her coaching career.Comment

For the Shocks to come anywhere close to that record PC Mike Steele will have to be an absolute miracle worker. Maybe he will prove to be that but that is one tall order, perhaps even unreasonable to expect.

I hope you're right but by my count you have picked 13 series wins out of a total of 15 series. We had 4 series wins last year, Bradley and MSU (combined 18-22 in MVC), Northern Colorado (the 1st series of the year, they finished 15-32 with a 268 RPI) and Stephen F Austin (30-30). We also only won 2 games in a row 7 times last season and never won more than 2 in a row.
