Yes, one was. Alex Segal, a 6-4 LHP out of Scottsdale, Arizona Chaparral H.S. and who signed with the Shockers this past April was taken in round 38 (#1152) by the Blue Jays.
Chase Williams (at 1041) and Tanner Kirk (at 1051) both went in round 35.
So the Shocker draftees where Jr. Sam Tewes (8th round), Sr. John Hayes (25th round), Sr. Chase Williams (35th round) and Sr. Tanner Kirk (35th round) plus incoming recruit Alex Segal (38 round).
Goshockers.com lists Caleb Eldridge as an incoming recruit picked in the 20th round. I don't think he had ever been announced anywhere as a recruit. Looks like he hit .391 with 16 HR at Cowley as a redshirt freshman after sitting out a year at Oklahoma State.

Interesting. That's a pretty good draft. I wonder what the chances are of him ever wearing a Shocker uniform especially since his recruitment has not been previously reported? I guess will see.

I think it is notable that 12 of the 17 Valley players drafted were seniors. The remaining 5 were Juniors including Sam Tewes who saw no action in Valley games either of the past two seasons.

It looks like Willie Schwanke is planning to return next year. I was very surprised Willie wasn't drafted. If he can stay healthy this would be a huge benefit to next year's pitching staff.
