Tied for the longest winning streak all year - shocks on a roll.

Meh, still felt like a loss to me. Maybe because this season is already a loss, I dunno.

Or maybe it's because we all know how games 2 and 3 of these weekend series go.

Enjoy first place in the Valley while you can.

      ... No really, deuces.

How many wins does butler need to save his job?

Not bad -- doubled their road wins. Tough break on the Texas chase, though; Augie's guys beat K-State to stay two games up on WSU at 13-17.

          That's quite a foursome:

          Texas 13-17
          KSU 13-18 (1/2 GB)
          Flagship U 10-16 (1 GB)
          Shocks 11-19 (2 GB)

Didn't some of those teams once know how to play baseball?

Shox down 4-0 but batting with the bases juiced and nobody out in the 4th. Jenista up.

Second interference call of the game creates an artificial double play, lol. Somehow we get screwed out of the runner at 3rd even advancing home on the play.

Did not know that call was possible w/r/t the runner at 3rd.

Evansville escapes the inning unscathed. We pretty much had the bank held up then accidentally pulled the trigger to shoot off our dick while the vault was being unlocked.

How does a team get called for interference twice in one game? Were they bad calls or dare I say was something done fundamentally wrong?

Bases loaded with no outs and nobody scores? LOL. That right there should get you fired on the spot.

Other teams should feel very confident vs WSU. You're never out of a game.

I agree the interference calls are a baseball IQ issue. We had one on Tuesday also.

Runners are not able to advance on an interference call so that is why the runner couldn't score from 3rd.

Today's game pretty emblematic of the Shock's season to date. Really not giving anyone any reason to have much hope that things will start to turn around.

Would that be enough though? :)

We faced a guy today that was 0-3 with an ERA over 8 and couldn't really get to him. He did more damage by putting people on and we really couldn't even capitalize on that. Sometimes I have hope that we could be a pretty good hitting team, and then there are days like today that make me wonder if we are improving in any aspect of the game.

When they had the error in the 2nd inning that allowed the 4 runs - Kennedy mentioned the body language of the team changed. This which would point to mental toughness issue among their other deficiencies.
