We may win an occasional game here and there if Schwanke and Tewes can go at least 7 innings and the Shocks can build a big lead. Otherwise, the Shocks look pretty hopeless and helpless. I see maybe 2 or 3 more wins in our non-conference games.

I said a few years back that it'll get worse before it gets better. Evidently, worse still hasn't happened yet.

There's nothing like watching baseball on a beautiful day, a value worth the price of admission. However I can't justify my ROI by paying exorbitant concession prices in conjunction to watching a horrible losing product on the field. If they slash concession prices in half, I will gladly come out to the park.

Gene needed to go. I have no defense for Butler but I had zero support for Gene. Butler's poor performance in no way vindicates Gene in my eyes. Just my opinion.

Perhaps but I'd take a wailing Gene over a Todd Butler at the top of his "game". Sexton crumbled like a sand castle and hurried into another adventure that tied a mediocre coach to a SEVEN year contract. How freaking DUMB can you get? Jim Schaus he is NOT.

Hooper should have been the next in line but a stubborn, in-over-his-head athletic director preferred to cut all ties with the Gene era (outside of BK, which I'm still questioning to what reason why).

This program is now in the trash. Expect 150 per game and a long boring summer for me.

I haven't been out there, but the concession prices sound like a whole lot of fun. WSU is such a scummy institution sometimes. I haven't bought a concession item at WSU in 2 years. I will never be extorted like that AGAIN. JOKE.

We have been posting. Have you been reading? I also believe that most of us had a different first (maybe second) choice than Butler, but we support the baseball program, so we supported Butler. Again, if you have been reading, we are holding him to the same higher standards that we did with Gene after Butler's 2 year grace period. I don't think anyone liked the 7 year contract. If that what it was taking to get even someone with Butler's experience and background, then I definitely would have gone for Hooper or Standiford.

I have no regrets about my position on Gene. He was his own worst enemy. By the way, Gene said he wanted to continuing coaching right after the change. I haven't heard anything, so maybe you have. How many of those job offers have you seen? Surely someone doing such a great job would be overflowing with offers.

Not sure how much meaning RPI has but the season is 1/5 over and we have the lowest RPI in the conference. And not a good conference, the 17th ranked conference in the country. We have exactly one, ONE win over a team with a better than .500 record.
