I am still bitter the way the entire thing took place and the negative impact it has had (and is still having) on the program. While I think we should have gone a different direction, NONE of the stuff mentioned here is in ANY WAY HCTB's fault and it isn't really fair to him that he has to deal with all of this (although he did get handsomely compensated for the risk he took). I agree the biggest mistake was the 7 year contract. All we can do now is continue to support our coaches and players and hope for the best.

I was way over my entertainment budget last year due to the number of $6 and $8 beers I had to buy. I reserve the right to voice my anger periodically as long as my budget suffers this way. BTW beers have gone up and are now $7 or $8...

If you have to have a beer at the ball game I suggest keeping track of how many you buy during the season and deduct $3 to $4 a beer as a charitable contribution come tax time.

If it was just one I would be fine. There were times last year that 4 was hardly enough... ;)
