    0-10. Mid 6

We got 2 outs with one pitch!!!! Probably the crowning achievement of the inning thus far.

      popup popup popup strikeout popup

Really putting up a solid fight. Shox answer 5-run inning by UCA with a 5-pitch inning of their own in the bottom half. Take THAT!

Careful diz. You don't wanna be labeled a KU/KSU fan with all of the negativity.

        4-10. Irrelevant.

I've never been more relieved to have passed up an opportunity for cheap season tickets.

            Go Royals.

So much for the 10-5 win over Central Michigan meaning anything. Not only are the Shocks getting beat they are getting embarrassed.

                UCA's 6-9 hitters are 9/13.

Will the Shox hit another homer this year? 4 in the first 2 games, and now none for nearly 12 games.

Brett's pitching staff isn't exactly covering itself with glory any more than the position players are. OTOH, the Shocks offense (if I may use that term loosely) was totally shut down by a guy who had pitched 1 inning this year previous to today's game.

They were probably saving their All-American so we wouldn't have a scouting report on him.

Shox now have 5 hits, which will probably be enough for them to claim a victory in this year's real record: games with more hits than errors. I mean, shoot, even in this blowout they may pull off the elusive "more hits than strikeouts" feat, which sounds funny but until Sunday they had more strikeouts on the season than hits. Not joking.

10-1 Shox as they mercifully avoid the shutout.

Very nice Bronx cheer by the Shocker faithful.

I may just drop my season tickets off at Big Brothers-Big Sisters however I am concerned about turning young fans off of baseball for the rest of their lives.

4 walks, a HBP and a PB in the 9th just to keep things clean and tidy.

Pretty sure at this point you just have to put it in the right zip code to get the call, and we aren't close.

                            1-12.
