My comment was intended to be tongue-in-cheek. From what I hear A.J. is a great teammate. But the way the guys play behind him is just a real mystery.

Terrible 3rd for the Shox. First two walked on 8 pitches, and the 2, 3 and 4 hitters couldn't move them, much less score them.

I hate to say but our only chance may be to take Ladwig out of the game. No chance the Shocks are going to produce 2-runs with A.J. on the mound. At least they haven't given any indication that will happen.

Minimum lightning in the area delay. Thunderstorms between Derby and Douglas moving Northeast and another thunderstorm around Oxford (between) Wellington and Winfield) moving to the Northeast.

Seems mostly precautionary at this point as these storms are unlikely to threaten Wichita proper but probably the wise thing to do for everyone's safety.
