Shocks have really hit the ball hard today. Good to see. I know the errors are bothersome, but that's not going to be our everyday SS out there and unless Green turns it around I doubt he's out there much more. I am far more impressed with our approach to the game in general than I am bothered by a few plays, specifically.

Just my opinion, but I don't agree with those bagging on Micah. He's one of our leading returning hitters (.286) had an errorless season in 2013 and is coming off a very good fall, according to Butler. He lost a ball in the sun. That's no reason to bench him in the third game.
“Micah Green is as physical of a centerfielder as you can have in college baseball,” Butler said. “We think he has the confidence to have the season he has been looking for. He can change the game with one swing and is also a plus runner and plus defender. He had a very good fall.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”
