There is considerably more depth at the top (more than 15 good teams every year), but crappy teams are still crappy. We have gotten worse.

It baseball. Who you send out to the bump can dictate the game and most teams have at least 1 guy who can shut you down. It is also a 9 inning game. The key to me is the team has executed to tie the game up and get ahead. Just as I speak WSU now leads 6-1.
