People know my stance on the AD. I'm just gonna hold off before my mom gets dragged into the discussion as well.

I will say, now that moves have been made with baseball, Sexton will now have the opportunity to prove all the naysayers wrong... or fail miserably in which WSU baseball fans will be f***ed even worse.

I don't think you got the memo. Not being a naturally gifted public speaker trumps anything actually related to the job of being an AD. How could you not know that by now?

Then you are going to be really upset when you find out how long ago our last CWS appearance happened.

Do you really wanna rehash this stuff again? Can't we save that for July or August, when things get boring around here?

How many of those coaches did Eric hire?

I hate to break it to you, but CWS appearances don't grow on trees anymore like they did in the 90s. The college baseball landscape is completely different than it was 17 years ago. Complaining about CWS appearances now is like bitching about not going to the Final Four every single year and firing a coach when he only makes the Sweet 16. Without Gene, do you really think this program would even HAVE a CWS appearance? Would we even have a huge stadium for baseball? I highly doubt we'd have a National Title on our schools resume either. I don't agree with the way this Gene thing is going down whatsoever. He deserves to go out how he wants. If he wants to stay for 10 more years, let him. We'll have the winningest coach in college baseball history here after it's all over. BIG SACRIFICE GUYS.

Somehow I missed Louisiana Lafayette. That makes 44 different programs since WSU made it.
