As far as Tointon Stadium goes, it will be great for the players, but not a lot of seats for fans. But afterall, it wasn't the stadium that earned the Regional, it was the ball players you saw who did.

WSU has the highest probability of a #4 seed of winning the EcoKat regional
The EcoKats are the most likely No. 1 seed to NOT make it out of their regional

Hello Shockers. I hope that those of you that journey to Manhappening have a great time and that if K-State doesn't win the regional that you guys do.
3 reasons
1. You are from Kansas
2. You are not KU
3. You are the underdog.
Probably won't get a chance to chat with you guys again until after tomorrow's game but it wouldn't shock me if I talk to a few of you at the game tomorrow.
Go Cats!!!!

Looking at Boyd's probabilities, I can see why some were hoping to get a trip to Indiana if the Manhattan thing didn't work out for whatever reason.
By the way, speaking of that regional, I see the numbers and records for Austin Peay ("The Fly is open -- let's go Peay!" Wrong sport, I know, but how can you resist a cheer like that?) and also for Florida, so I understand the seeding; but it just looks funny for Peay to be a #2 and Florida a #3.

OK, I need the Shocks to come through today. My father-in-law and brother-in-law played football at KSU. My wife and my daughter both graduated from there. We have had season football tickets there, due to their family history, for many years. I spouted off about mid week games earlier this year after losses to the cats. My wife made a retaliatory comment that I remember well. I have never once uttered "LaSalle", because I deemed it was just cruel and I am not a fan of celibacy. A Shocker victory would just soothe me like a glass of wine on the beach in Kauai at sunset.Robin Roberts: "My mother used to say, when you strut, you stumble."

Will the Shockers get the pitching and hitting that got us through the MVC tournament? Will the Shocks return to the form that has plagued them all season?
If we get the hitting and pitching is it possible we go 3-0 and advance? Or are we still out classed? If we get the production that has plagued us all season are we heading to a 2&Q?

Also, per the Eagle's preview...the KSU starter will be freshman Levi MaVorhis (5-0, 3.51 ERA).
