Harbutz doubles and it's 4-0. This poor kid for Bradley couldn't get me out, yet they leave him out there.

    Coy grounds out.

    Mucha steps in. Inning over.

4 runs, 5 hits, 1 Brave error and 1 left. 4-0 after a half inning.

Then Palmer comes out and walks the first two hitters, gets behind the 3rd batther and gives up a single to load the bases and then wild pitches a run home moving the runners up to 2nd and 3rd and taking the double play out of the equation.

Walk, walk, single, wild pitch, sac fly, K, K. 2 runs, 1 hit. Unreal. 34 pitches for Drew Palmer so he won't be around long today.

The first 6 batters in the Shocker lineup today are 10-12.

7-2 now with the bases loaded and 2 outs for Michael Mucha.

Ball, ball, ball, strike, fly out.

            3 runs, 4 hits, 1 error, 2 stolen bases and 3 left on. 7-2 after 1 and a half.

Top 6 hitting .833 and the bottom 3 hitting .000

Don't know how many runs it's going to take to win today, but 7 ain't going to do it.

Palmer's at 50 pitches. Bradley has 2 in and runners at 2nd and 3rd with only 1 out.

              Foster Vielock in to pitch.

A single and a walk and it's 7-6 and the Braves are still batting.

Vielock wriggles off the hook and keeps WSU in the lead going to the 3rd.

Shocks load them up again and Green doubles home 2 for a 9-6 lead. 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and Harbutz up.

Harbutz walks and they're loaded again, this time for Coy.

                    First 6 batters, .733 bottom 3 .000

                    Coy strikes out.

9-6 going to the bottom of the 3rd but the Shocks have left 7 on base in 3 innings.

just think what it would be like if the MVC still played 4 game series.

I'd rather not, thank you very much.

9-7 Shocks, top 4. Indiana State completes the sweep of Creighton 5-3 in Terre Haute. Missouri State trails SIU in the 5th.

14-8 top 7 Shocks lead. SIU beat MSU in Carbondale today to salvage 1 out of 3 against the mighty Bears.

IF, and that's a big IF, WSU can hold on today, at least they'll be able to say they had the Valley lead for 1 week.

The Indy State sweep of Cu really stuns me. I didn't see that one coming at all.

Hopefully our pitching staff can hold a 8 run lead (Shox now lead 16-8 in the 8th inning). Bradley is bringing in a pitcher who pitched quite a few pitches yesterday.
