The Tigers didn't use the 2 good relievers they have. Obviously, the rest of their pen is not good.
We got away with some below average play early (not scoring leadoff walks, giving up too many walks) but we played clean baseball and eventually did enough offensively.
Pitching continues to battle, even when they don't have their best stuff. That's good.
Tommy at 77 pitches was a bit too much for my liking, but we needed to secure the win so I get it. He should be good to go Tuesday. Just hope it's not the 9am game.

Scenarios for seeds:
Two seed: UTSA loses both games to FAU and WSU wins both games at MemphEx. Any UTSA win, WSU loss or cancelled game due to weather or otherwise eliminates us from a possible 2 seed.
Three seed: If Tulane wins tomorrow; WSU will be the 3 seed with a 0-0, 1-0 or 2-0 record. Any loss and Tulane is the 3 seed and WSU is the 4 seed.
If Tulane loses tomorrow; WSU will be the 4 seed if and only if they lose both of their remaining games vs MemphEx. All other result combinations will ensure the 3 seed.

Schedule wise around the conference:
ECU will try a DH tomorrow to get their 3 games in. Pretty likely I think.
Charlotte and Tulane will start early enough to get their 3rd game in.
USF hosting UAB should be no trouble, and the same with FAU hosting UTSA.
Looks like WSU at MemphEx is the only one in doubt.
IF Charlotte, FAU and Rice could all win tomorrow (lot to ask) that would eliminate MemphEx. With Charlotte winning, perhaps the conference would allow our games to not be played as they'd be mostly useless. I really don't want to have to play 2 Saturday, especially if ECU, Rice, Tulane & Charlotte are all done by tomorrow afternoon. That's patently unfair.Comment

If Memphis wins they get their ticket punched by only winning one.
