If my math is right (no promises) these results would be fun:

      ECU loses 3 to Rice
      WSU beats Memphex 3
      USF beats UAB 2 times
      FAU beats UTSA 3 times
      Charlotte beats Tulane 2 times

We tie ECU for the title. ECU, Tulane, Rice and USF are on 1 side of the bracket with WSU, UTSA, FAU and Charlotte on the other.

WSU today equaled its AAC win total from last year. With a full series left to go.

Wonder what the difference is in Hibbs talent v. Green’s talent. Being that BG will likely surpass LH in conference wins in both their seasons.

            And everyone laughed at me.

Play for the title til the title ain't an option.

              Like Stroh's second bomb ... that's fair.

FAU played at FGCU last night.

The first 7 Owls reached base (3 walks, single, double, double, HR) and scored. 7-0 before FGCU recorded an out and they needed a DP to get out of another mess.

The lead did not hold up. That little 14 spot FGCU dropped in the bottom of the 2nd led to a 28-18 walkoff 5 run bottom 7 run rule final.

Without looking, guessing both teams were throwing the bottom of the bullpen barrel in preparation for final series and conf tourneys? Makes you wonder why bother.

Are you sure that wasn't a spring football scrimmage.

This weekend's series as of now:

WSU @ MemphEx Tonight at 6 looks fine, tomorrow is VERY dicey, Saturday is better but still tough.

Rice @ ECU Tonight at 5 looks fine, but rain moves in tomorrow late afternoon early evening and stays. Expecting game time of 5 Friday to be moved up.

UTSA @ FAU Thunderstorms tonight will make today's game difficult to get in. Tomorrow and Saturday look perfect.

Tulane @ Charlotte Much like Greenville, tonight looks good but once the rain gets here it's doing to be tough. Charlotte though, unlike the rest of the conference, is ahead of the game. They've already scheduled a DH today, first game starts at 1pm. Expect Friday's game to be moved up as well (listed as TBD for now), unless there is some gamesmanship to be played, based on how today goes.

UAB @ USF Starts 5:30 tonight and it's the one series that doesn't look like weather is an issue all weekend.

Any chance the Shocks and MemphEx could squeeze in a double header today? Looks like the Shocks traveled to Mempis on Wednesday.

Seems late to be able to make the change now. WSU/Memphis should've played two today.

Too late even if they agree on a couple 7 inning games?

Not saying it's too late (but yeah it's too late) to squeeze in a DH but it doesn't take a genius to figure out it should have been done YESTERDAY like Charlotte did. Get in 2 today, then worst case is you have to play 1 on Saturday. I can't imagine how pissed we're going to be if they try to play 2 Saturday because MemphEx is still alive to go to Clearwater.
