2023 Off-season and Portal Recruiting

Another Wheat Bat Signal sent out this afternoon.

If anyone has been paying attention, have we signed or do we have a decent CF option? It seems like we added someone, but my memory is failing me.

Right now I have the current roster count at 36. Probably need another 6-10 to ensure a full 40 man roster after fall ball.

I don't think there are too many questions on returning players at this point.

Certainly interested to see where Harris, Williams, Bye, Flaggert, Shelby, Rost, Dunn, Dillhoff and especially McDonald and Herring end up (really, really would love a surprise McDonald return). I've heard rumors on the last 2 but can't confirm.

The MINK League is teams from Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas although at this point it appears to be 7 teams in Missouri and 2 in Iowa.

Not a lot of innings pitched. Strike outs of 20 in 18.2 innings is good, 14 walks in those 18.2 innings not so much. Only 8 hits in 18.2 innings is not bad. I guess we will see.
