My bad. I thought Hannibal was a new team in the MINK. They are a member of the Prospect League which does NOT participate in the NBC. But historically the Prospect League like Cape Cod and the North Woods has been known for very high quality summer baseball.

A.J. Ladwig started for Eau Claire tonight against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters but was not effective as he took the loss.

He gave up 8 hits, 2 walks and 7 earned runs in Eau Claire's 9-6 loss.

Not a good start to his summer.

Hannibal knocked off Springfield 15-8 tonight but Sam Hall did not play.

It doesn't look like Casey Gillaspie played today, I don't see is name in the Eau Claire box score.

The Broncos beat the crap out of VC 15-1 last night. VC had more errors (5) than hits (4). Missed most of the game because we were at church. Hoping to make it there tonight. I believe they play Derby at 7

The game has been moved from El Dorado to Derby due to wet conditions in El Dorado.

Liberal is playing at Haysville this weekend. I believe they are playing 3 games. There are Shockers on both teams.

Hannibal is 5-5 heading into their game tonight. Sam Hall played in the 1st three games but only produced a single in 9 ABs. He as not appeared in any of the last 7 games. Not sure whether he is hurt again or what the story is with Sam.

Kris Gardner has not pitched for Hannibal in any of their 1st 10 games either.

Casey Gillaspie played his first game for Eau Claire this past Wednesday going 1-4 with an RBI. On Thursday Casey went 1-4 and last night he went 2-4. So he is 4-12 (.333) with 1 RBI in his first 3 games for the Express.

A.J. Ladwig started his second game last night for Eau Claire and was bad again giving up 10 hits and 5 earned rus in 5 innings. In 2 starts he has given up 18 hits and 12 earned runs in 9 innings for an ERA of 12.00. Hopefully, he is OK. This is not promising at all.

Johnny Coy has not played yet for the Rochester Honkers.

BTW, the Prospect League (Gardner & Hall @ Hannibal Cavemen) and the Northwoods League (Gillaspie and Ladwig @ Eau Claire and Coy reportedly @ Rochester) have very similar websites and the best I have seen so far and by far for the summer leagues in which the Shocks are participating.

Tyler Baker, Dayne Parker and Kyle Vail play for Liberal. Conner Knight for Haysville. Liberal won last night's game 5-1. They play tonight and Sunday evening at 7:00. There is no admission fee for the Haysville Heat games according to their website. Here are directions to the Jayhawk league fields:
                                http://jayhawkbaseballleague.org/records.php?id=20

I haven't been able to find anything in the way of stats for the Jayhawk League or its teams for this year. The 2011 Jayhawk league stats are posted on their website, but nothing for this year. The Prospect League and Northwoods League are lightyears ahead of the Jayhawk League in that regard. Both are bigger and more substantial leagues.
