  • Thanks ShockTalk. Being so far from Wichita, I don't receive the "read between the lines" issues that probably exist. Appreciate the response and any other input from those connected to the program.

In this case: A bad sign of good things. :)

please, you really are assuming what you read means there is no communication? Of course there is plenty of communication - how many contract extensions has Sexton gave him? And we know he has communicated there would be no contract extension past 2014. Eric is at the games, at the banquets, etc. There is plenty of communication - just Gene doesn't like the message he is getting.

Sand volleyball or bowling? Interesting article.

                • Maybe someone should contact them and let them know that he will be available.

                  • I think Gene has a contract with the weather gods that he continues to roll in the $$ without having to play a home game.

                      Very possible

                      • Or maybe Augie Garrido could move north to Denton. His team missed the tournament last year too, which is a far greater breach of entitlement among Longhorn supporters than a miss by WSU is here, and if the Big 12 tournament happened tomorrow, Texas would be the ONE team (eight of the nine get in) that would fail to qualify, based on their having lost their series against fellow bottom dweller Texas Tech.

Apparently "today's kids" -- you know, the ones that don't respond to Gene's tough, demanding style any more -- don't respond to Zen either.

Ah, the excuses game is back in full force.

If Texas sucks, then WSU can suck too! What a moronic statement.

                          • Gregg Marshall really has a tough time connecting with today's kids. Must be a problem unique to the younger generation and not to overpaid coaches eligible for social security.
