Missing 2 weeks of the season for almost round the clock baseball for two weeks was a true blessing, Thank you dad & mom for the love and memories...
You're my kind of people, DU.

      • Is it me or does this actor/character carry a resemblance to “He Who Shall Not Be Named” in Norman?

funny what impressed me at that age, anyways reading this brought back a ton of memories. Oh and I don’t remember his name but the former major leaguer who ran the camp would talk to us and gave us all an autographed picture, lol. Power hitting lefty, played for Baltimore I think. Can’t remember his name.
I believe it was Bo Belcher.

This was one of the biggest bombs I've ever seen at the Eck that wasn't to dead left. Gibby absolutely crushed the ball, more into the crosswind than not, it CLEARED the back fence and landed in the middle of the parking lot and one bounced into the bed of a truck. Sweet bat flip too. I still wonder if he might catch one in the back for that tomorrow.

              • All of WSU pitchers yesterday were throwing in the low 90's. So this run is not smoke and mirrors. The only issue with some was their walks. They wiggled out of yesterday, but at some point, walks will bite you in the a$$.

Perhaps underrated a bit yesterday was that it DID bite the team, but they didn't fold. They responded and came back to win. Props for that.

Gibson gets one in the wind to lead off the 2nd and it's 1-0 Shox

                          • LaTech left fielder gets hurt landing after trying to catch that one at the wall. Looks like his right leg got bent under him funny. His leg isn't on sideways, but it didn't look real pleasant either.
