The center field view showed the catcher got the tag, then the ball popped out after Gibson's knee hit his glove after the tag.

Yep. Terrible idea by Gibson to run through the stop sign.

Worse umpiring to call him out. You don't have to ask the catcher to tea. He slid. The catcher blocked the plate and dropped the ball.

Poor base running by Katzfey and Gibson in that inning but of no real consequence. Loved Hunter's opposite field drive into the gap to clear the bases. That was nice.

I'm not sure I wholly agree. IMO, this season is to be measured more in doing things the right way than wins and losses. If I'm going to give them leeway in losses when they do things right, I think it's also fair to be disappointed when they do things wrong in wins.
