    That's a fantastic midweek start. Curious to see if they'll roll him out for the 6th. 73 pitches.

              I’ve heard Clemons described as a great athlete but didn’t know he played SS. If so he’s showed good power with a couple of homers and if a future SS, it’s not bad to have a FR. SS with speed and power. That looks good for the future.

                  Whew! Cornblum was toast. Throw handcuffed the catcher and he was able to knock it loose. Infield single by DVV and that's it for Big'n.

                              Nope.

                              However, I will say that while we aren't coming through with a ton of game-breaking hits in these situations, we aren't standing there with the bat on our shoulder either. Putting the ball in play almost every time in those scenarios. I'll take it. There's a plan.
