Anyone coming down to watch the matchup I have been dreaming about for years is more than welcome to come drink some beers with me. I am so excited about this game and can't wait to be confused on who I am rooting for. (I will be there in my Texas State gear but that doesn't mean my old Wichita State caps aren't still hanging in my closet).
Our stadium is a bit smaller than yours (ok a lot) but it works. Our pitching is not on par with what is usually coming out of Wichita State but our bats are stellar. This should really be an entertaining matchup. We have Carson Smith who is by far the best pitcher we have had at Texas State in a long time.
The core of our team from last year turned down their pro offers and returned so be ready to watch a team that plays the style of ball Wichita State did back in the 90s. Love to smash (just not the quality of pitching except Smith).
Edit: I spoke way too soon. I have been living overseas and have apparently missed out on Carson Smith signing with the Mariners over the summer. So, Our pitching sucks all around.

One thing everybody should do when they're down there is make the 20-mile trek to Lockhart, TX, which is renowned as the Barbecue Capitol of Texas. It's a small town, but is home to two of Texas Monthly's Top 5 BBQ joints in Texas. Those two would be Smitty's Market and Kreuz (pronounced "Krites") Market. They've each been featured on "Food Wars" and have plenty of videos on YouTube. A third place, Black's BBQ, is also supposed to be great.
I've only been to Smitty's, but I have to say it was an awesome experience. Hands down the greatest smoked sausages on the planet.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”
