I for one am looking forward to Baseball season, but only Shocker baseball season. I don't really care for any other baseball teams whatsoever. I'm a die hard fan of our basketball team, but it's nice to have something to follow once the season is over in March (hopefully early April this year!) I can't wait to sit out on The Hill again and enjoy some conversation and some Shocker baseball!Comment

Shocker baseball is definitely number 1 with me (that is why I am in San Marcos, TX and not Davidson right now). Shocker basketball is mainly a time filler until baseball season starts. Hope they get the games in today, long way to drive to get rained out.
On a side note thankfully RDR did not come on this trip, I still have nightmares about a hairy leg incident in the middle of the night in motel room Alabama many years ago. If you have ever seen the love scene from the movie Deliverance you will get my drift.

Just found out from a buddy that is connected to Texas State's athletic department:
First game of the tournament postponed from noon to 3
Texas State vs. Wichita State has been bumped to tomorrow
Here's the link to the Bobcat site, although it hasn't been updated with the info I heard yet.
I'll post anything else I hear - will probably be headed that way later today for tailgating and probably tomorrow as well. In the interim, you guys should find a Bikini's in Austin or San Marcos and enjoy the Bobcat coeds, a cold beer, and a BB victory (hopefully)Comment

Estimate is still 3pm for the game originally scheduled for noon. Apparently they're trying to take care of standing water in the outfield.
Looking like a double header for Wichita State tonight - U La La, then Santa Clara.
I can't speak for San Marcos, but 45 miles down the road in San Antonio we got a lot of rain in the last 24 hours - it was still raining hard this morning around 730 or 8, but we haven't had anything since then.
Obviously this is a fluid situation (no pun intended), but that's what I know for now. Will post more info as I hear it.Comment
