Wichita State - Tulane Series at Eck Stadium

Tomorrow's game is very mportant for this team. We need to establish that yesterday was the fluke and that today is more our norm although we do only have LIam on the bump once a week.

Being at home and being the much higher rated team tomorrow's game is one this team not only should win but one they must win IMHO. The Shocks need to establish that they are more than a 1-arm team.

Not much to complain about today. The 9th inning was ugly. I'm inclined to give Alex Segal the benefit of the doubt because of his circumstances. Not sure what the issue with Connor Lungwitz was. Would prefer not to leave so many runners on base (13) but to leave that many on you have to get a lot of runners on especially when you score 9.

Hopefully, Tommy can give us a solid 5 innigns tomorrow.

In today's pregame show Kennedy said Alex Segal had an issue with a fingernail that was began to bleed after his 3 pitches that he threw yesterday to open the 9th and they will be shutting him down for a little while and that Connor Lungwitz complained of a little tightness in his forearm and will not be available today. Certainly could explain the kerfuffle in getting through the 9th inning yesterday. Hopefully, neither injury proves to be too serious.

The 4th almost got ugly, but Barnhouse worked around the bases loaded jam with 3 K's. WSU 4, Tulane 1 B4

TB runs into some issues. Walk, SB, Double, HBP put runners on 1st and second with no out.

Then he got back to back Strike Outs, but then gave up a blooper up line to load the bases.
