Very frist inning will be important today IMO. Need for Liam to start off the game with a clean inning just to set a totally different tone form yesterday and then pitch deep into the game. At least 6 innigns, preferably 7. The Shocks have not had a starter go 7 yet this year.

Okay. Step one accomplished by Liam. Strike out, routine ground out to 2nd and then an error by DeBacker at first who let a ball go between his legs before Liam induced a fly ball to Jenista in left center. Liam throwing strikes.

Now let's see if the offense can wake up.

In the top of the 2nd Tulane got their lead off batter to 1st on a soft single to left center but that runner was erased on a hit and run line drive to Luke Ritter in RF who doubled the runner off of 1st. Liam then got a week grounder that he fielded and tossed to 1st to close out the inning.

Runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. Let's see which team showed up today.

Liam looking really good through 3 scoreless innings, locating it really well. Home plate umpire's zone is oddly tight so far IMO.

Bohm follows with an RBI single, 1-0 Shocks as Bohm takes second on the throw. 2nd and 3rd, 1 out for Gunnar.

2 RBI double for Troutwine puts us up 3-0. Very nice.

Excellent round at bat for the Shocks after 3 innings they are 17 runs ahead of where they were yesterday. Very important for Liam ot come out an keep Tulane at bay after being spotted to a 4-run lead.
