Nebraska lost to Cal Poly (5-7) last night at home 14-8.

Nebraka rebounded to take 3 of 4 from Cal Poly, now sit at 9-6.

Talk about a pinball scoreboard series. Nebraska led 8-4 after 6, and lost 14-8. Their 1st home opener loss since 1979.

Then they win the next 3 game, 4-0, 22-3 and 13-2.

Cal Poly was good enough to beat Arkansas, and Michigan (not great but preseason #5 B1G)

But Cal Poly is also 2-5 against RPI 200+ teams. Michigan is also 4-10 so I don't think they are going to be much of a signature win this year. The one run win over Arkansas is by far the best win for Cal Poly at this point in the season.

By the way, how bad does their pitching staff have to be to give up 8, 22, and 13 runs to NU. NU did not look good at the plate during our series with them.
