The incident occurred in Bowling Green either late Saturday night Mar. 21 or early Sunday the 22nd, the night BGSU's season ended.

So he got into a physical altercation at a bar and it wasn't bad enough that it got him thrown in jail? There must be more "history" involved. If he did indeed get fired for an isolated incident, hire this man back immediately! Tell recruits, hell yeah Chris Jans is passionate! Did he tell you his bar fight story?!

Hmmm... not quite sure how to take that. It was more than just cussing out a non-fan, that's for sure. Nobody gets fired for that anymore.

I know he's a hot head, but if that's all this was, I'm in his corner. If he misrepresented the university by having a foul mouth and cussing out some people who were making fun of his team or something...heck even if he punched someone...I would probably take him back :)

Have you seen him on the bench at one of our games? :)
