I heard the samething about Wichita fans in Omaha last year. I wanted to know where it said you had to sit on the ticket? I was around a lot of fellow Shockers both days and saw nothing wrong. Some fan bases just don't understand a dedicated passionate fan base.

Typically the people who are complaining about this are the folks who sit in the lower sections that spend the big bucks to go to the games as a social status, not to actually watch the games. You will see them on their phones posting a status on Facebook along with a selfie saying, "Look at me! I'm here and you aren't!"
It's become very prevalent at big money schools, and I know I have personally seen and heard it from some friends who have gone to UL and UK games, and I know the vast majority of their fan bases are elitist snobs...

I will probably actually watch Creighton tonight. BYU is a fun team to watch and they will show Creighton what an NIT crowd is supposed to look like. I guess I need to rephrase, I will watch BYU tonight, Creighton will just be in the background.

I know this thread has been in the Wichita State Men's Basketball forum for over a year, but shouldn't it be in the Around The NCAA forum instead? It seems like I always have to go past this thread when looking at threads about Shocker basketball. I always mark it as read each time it appears near the top of the forum.

Well, crap. Did Creighton play again and I still was unaware of that?.

I was rather fond of the BlueJay link earlier in the thread that went to a CU fan discussion of playing WSU. CU was a 4-seed in the NIT. New Mexico State was a 5-seed. We can buy teams at about the level of CU. When I pointed that out on their board, they called me a troll.
