  • I think the predicament will arise: Who has enough money to pay near Greg's salary currently, and how far is Greg willing to go down the payscale for a job?

Well that assumes demand for his services remains correspondent to his current level of salary, which is a big assumption.

The better question might be does McD swallow his pride and accept true market value for his coaching skills, or does he just do something else with his life? If he does remain on current trajectory, then no AD in their right mind is going to pay much more than a fraction of his current salary for that resume. A middle-of-the-pack MVC job at $400K (or whatever) might look killer compared to the other offers on the table.

Giacolletti is trying to build a program. He was burned pretty bad at Utah. I think he stays it the admin supports him.

I think shizzle's insinuation was him getting canned, not moving up to a better job.

            Could be wrong.

I was thinking he was better than Drake, but both are possibilities.

In that case, I have him putting Drake on an upward trajectory. Not sure how steep the slope is, but mid-pack next year is my prediction.

                  • (Cross-posted from another thread in a low traffic part of SN.)

Actual in-game pictures from Creighton's exhibition on Friday:

Box score says attendance of 15,015. Yeah... um, no. Bet you could hear the basketballs bounce, and the shoes squeak.

At least they have their priorities right. The beer is good.

                              Another quick jab:
"Creighton is no longer on the schedule (except for women’s basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball)."

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.
