This is funny. When the Shocks played Creighton in Omaha, they exposed Creighton for a soft, unathletic, very poor defensive team. I think that after they were exposed for the poor defensive team that they were, the coaches began to resort to demanding intensity, and more physical defense. They played a little better defense after that. One play against UNC branded the Bluejays as a a team of thugs?

To me it sounds like they were convinced their 2012 team was fully capable of beating Kentucky and winning the tourney. So now they are just trying to think of excuses/other reasons to be mad, after losing to a VERY thin KU team. If that's the case, I can understand their frustration. But emailing the President of Creighton and calling the Creighton basketball team thugs. That's over the top. Lol..

Agreed. Creighton just wanted to win the game. They knew it would be a big time game, and they played hard.

I am still not over that one. Wilkins was tasked with playing dirty and getting Stutz out of the game and he succeeded. I'm not saying I think they did anything wrong necessarily, but man, it was really frustrating.

yeah, they wouldn't win it. they just seem to always do something funny each year. this year, conveniently, they did it to CU instead of to us. i love evansville sometimes. i think they were actually the first loss in the skid for creighton.
