I think a younger Roy Williams schedules Creighton a year later, simply to demolish them, without suffering any injuries. But for some reason I can't see the older version of Roy bothering with it. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=78&f=1410&t=9106639

Creighton getting some love from UNC fans

North Carolina's fan base seems to be a complex one. Remember Roy catching flack for wearing that jayhawk on his shirt after losing to KU in 2008? This is a bit outrageous though. Granted, it is Creighton, they didn't win that game.. UNC's starting PG merely went flying to the basket and landed wrong. If this really does turn into Roy not scheduling Evansville this year and Creighton instead, it will be shocking indeed. I really don't think Roy has the confidence in his team, to automatically beat Creighton though. They aren't the Evansville of the MVC after all.

UNC beat the Aces by a combined 76 points the last 2 years and let me tell you, the games weren't even THAT close. Anyone that thinks Evansville is going to be even marginally better this season is delusional. Carolina NAMES THE SCORE against Evansville every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
All the Colt quadruple screens and screams of Martyball aren't going to make an ounce of difference. Don't kid yourself with Valley koolaid.

I guess the President of CU was also emailed and nagged at for Creighton's "thugish play".. Talk about an arrogant fan base on UNC's part. I also found this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuVukm0WYh8

I think what this UNC fan is missing here is, Creighton is like the KSU of the so called Mid-Majors. Or at least the Frank Martin era of KSU basketball. Yes, Creighton isn't as athletic as some of the teams they plays against, so they are a physical team. How was Frank Martin's KSU teams any different though? For whatever reason Creighton and KSU are the darlings of hype in their respected conferences and to the media. As a result, the pace of the game changes and calls do too. It happens, it happens good teams adjust.

UNC fans are whiners. Kendall MArshall's wrist injury was the third broken wrist to a UNC player in the last year and a half. I'm waiting for a UNC fan to explain what those guys are doing at UNC that results in so many limp wrists.

I'd love to see a CU vs UNC game. I'm always a fan of great basketball games.
