A little surprising, if only because they could have waited 3 weeks and saved $7 million+ off the buy out.

Scott, we owe you $14.3 million and we’re going to give it to you.

What time do you want me to leave, and what door do you want me to leave out of, brotha?

This does appear to be Nebraska helping out one of their own, even though he didn't help them.

Nebraska's lack of success for twenty years is surprising to me. Or should it be a bigger surprise that they had so much success from the mid-1960s through 1998 or so?

                That's a lot of cocktails
I hope that those recruits were 21.

$4,000.00 a day for 9 recruits. Moms must have been sauced by the pool most of the weekend. Maybe dad's too. LOL

One of the dads ordered a $125 ribeye steak. Why? Because he'd never had that type of ribeye before, so why not?

And how about liquor and wine for breakfast? I'm not much of a drinker. Is that a thing?

Women love mimosas. I believe bloody mary's are also a more common breakfast/brunch beverage.

Yes. I've never had a $125. steak, but even in Wichita, I'm sure you can find one (although probably not at DooDah Diner). It must have been a happy weekend for all.

                            Hot takes:

If Texas A&M doesn't beat Miami at home tomorrow night (and Miami is ranked 11 spots higher despite being the dog) then Jimbo Fisher will take a 1-5 Aggie team (Arkansas, @Miss State, @Bama) into South Carolina on Oct 22 and his backside will be white hot.

Nebraska will circle the wagons around their student athletes this weekend and not only give OU all they want, they'll win.

Kansas will host Iowa State on October 1, 4-0 for the 1st time since Mark had the fighting Maginos 5-0 in 2009 (and proceeded to lose their last 7 games of the season). Lance Leipold can coach.

ND's AD probably should have consulted FADDB before hiring a popular assistant for a job he was not prepared to take over. The Irish AD will not survive the head coach.

Rumors of any Georgia Bulldog demise based on the drafting of 9 defensive starters have been greatly exaggerated.

Kansas State will beat Oklahoma, Texas or both.

Most of those things hurt to type.

I’m sure Texas has a “designated pisser”, we know they have plenty of “whore houses in it.”…

Will Nebraska make a run at Lance Leipold?
