I'm pretty sure that I read that Horn was making 1.1 mill.

        • So if USC does dump Horn are they really going to jump to an offer of $2.5 million for 5 years as rumored on twitter?

          • I predict Bruce Weber will take his whinny, annoying voice to the airwaves and replace Bobby Knight..........and people will think it's an improvement.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Weber or Sadler to USC! At least that would make me breath easier.

At least in football. (as of late they've had a much better program than usual) They typically do a lot of jabbering about how good they are, without much to back it up.

The thing about USCjr is that they have a diehard fan base. Back when they were bottom of the barrel SEC, they'd sell out their stadium every game. Granted it was tailgate, but what ever. I had a cousin who went to USC and she would always tell me that they went to the football game because it was just something to pass the time while they took a break from tailgating. She actually knew people who had season tickets, who kept their parking pass so they could tailgate, but sold their tickets, because they had a big bus that they hooked up with a satellite and would watch the game on a big screen while they tailgated. However on the flip side, basketball is 3rd on the pecking list at USC. Football > Baseball > Basketball.

If USC opens up, I'm leaning towards us getting a new coach next year. It's home for Gregg, can't fault a man for wanting to go home and be around family. I just don't know how smart of a move career wise it is. Because you're talking about taking a 10-21 team who needs a facelift bad, that is at the bottom of a strong Power 6 conference, that has teams such as Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, that he will play every single year. If Gregg wants to test his coaching skills, I guess USCjr is a good of place as any to prove that.
                Good insight!

Too bad. A winning coach who just couldn't quite make it into the Dance.

What's really sad is that their new hire will get the credit if he does better next year. TU's top scorer is a sophmore, top rebounder is a sophmore. Their top 6 players go: Sophmore, Junior, Senior, Freshman, Sophmore, Sophmore.

I wonder if Scott Sutton would be interested in moving up.

I doubt it. I think he's comfortable with where he's at.

                          Most likely firing Horn.
