There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Im sorry I upset you, facts are facts, just because you were wrong on the nursing home thing, dont deny me benefits I paid for. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. With the exception of the Standard, all of my links were left wing links. It was on purpose. Why do the left wing sources post the same concerns? There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. I wasn't going to post this link, I really wasn't. But KC accused me of only posting right wing links, so I decided to post yet another link from LIBERAL LEANING The Guardian.
You just have to love the Germans. From building clocks to starting two world wars, the Germans are always on the forefront of solving human problems. How are they fixing their elderly problem? EXPORTATION!!!
Yep, the Germans are shipping grandma off to Eastern Europe!!! I thought they only exported Jews to Eastern Europe. I was wrong...
Linky, link, link, link, link.

I love how KC tried to play the Fox News card, but of all of the links I have posted, only one was conservative. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. You really might consider sitting on your arguments for a day or two and then reread them before you post them. Just an idea.
Basically, every cut-back in socialized medicine has been because of outside economic pressure not related to healthcare. Here is an article about Europe's cuts. Note that these cuts have all had negative affects both healthcare and the economy, and that "the greatest bulwark against these challenges is their broad popularity." I'll note the use of a common US tactic:
The right wing uses the cause of cost-containment and deficit reduction, combined with allegations of inefficiency, to chip away at the margins of these programs, to promote privatization and reductions in benefits, while at the same time avoiding a frontal rhetorical attack.

Okay, I was having fun there, KC, too much fun. Nothing like a story about the Germans shipping off a class of people, though. You just have to love the way the Germans think, "They are bringing our great society down! They are the reason for the bad economy! PUT THEM ON THE TRAIN!!!"
ROFLOL111!
On a serious note, would you accept a report published by The Oxford Press? Pretty reliable. By the way, this IS about UK nursing homes. Also, they call nursing homes "Care Homes" in Europe, not hospitals. When you see a story that headlines with the word "Hospital" they are referring to a hospital. When they say "Care Home" they mean nursing home. Funny thing about the Britts, the language is the same... but different. Here.s the link.
