If they truly generated income Walmart would have some. All stadiums/arenas are ultimately government/taxpayer subsidized.
Ticket sales, concessions, advertising, stadium rental, etc.
If we get somebody to "donate" the stadium, we get to earn from it.
It'll never be profitable. This is a given.

Didn’t read anything above, and hopefully someone has said this:
Its too late. That ship has sailed without us. We will never offer enough to get into any of the major conferences. So FB will be a drain of resources.
We need to invest everything we can to improving and updating every sport we have, and adding ones we don’t. Make ourselves a very attractive program to partner with the OU/OSU/Colorado/Nebraska group for Olympic sports.

Ah, the modern day liberal. Find anything to complain about those that do and apply it across the board as evil. Give me what I want, damn it, you can afford it!
Do you have any idea how many 6 figure jobs KI is responsible for, just in Wichita, and what that does for our economy?
Yet somehow he's responsible, because he's wealthy, for giving people a shiny toy to play with and because he doesn't (with this shiny toy) somehow he's a lesser human?
Many of you need to go back and read your history about what happened in this country when the majority vilified the corporate class.
Too many in our population have lost focus on what the parameters of their "rights" are.

You mean those jobs that pay considerably less than the union jobs at manufacturing companies?
Perhaps you can offer evidence of something they promoted (other than fascist politicians), that didn't have their name on it?
They can do anything with their wealth they desire. As long as they don't try to turn this country into a non-democratic form of government by taking our vote away!
As to the history. I guess you're talking about when we had a upwardly mobile and vibrant middle class?

You have no clue what their motivation is....but why shouldn't they put their name to it? Just because "they" do, that doesn't mean it's the motivation (typical gaslighting technique).
"Jobs that pay considerably less than the union jobs at manufacturing companies"......... wow.

Also, choosing not to vote, or more correctly stated, not caring about your civic responsibility enough to engage and care about the process (wherever you may decide to support and vote) is ABSOLUTELY your right, and one that IS being taken away by the left.
So when you talk about destroying democracy, understand we live in a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. Everyone CAN be part of the process. That doesn't mean everyone will or SHOULD be. If someone chooses not to be a part of the process, it is NOT up to you, or anyone else to force them to be a part of the process (vote).
You're wrong. It's completely up to you if you want to continue to be wrong.

Please get a room, guys. You political fight is spoiling the fight over whether WSU should resurrect a football program.
This entire topic seems a little out of place in the Basketball Forum. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
