Anybody getting sick of the leftists in this country rallying "experts" into trying to give them credibility for their political agenda?

This Project 2025 thing is fun to watch. I have not read it, don't care, just curious what is so bad about it?

Is it really bad, or just normal common sense items that the Dems can paint as bad, and as long as normal people don't know the details, they can make it sound like Mein Kampf? Without knowing the details, my guess is most people would find the ideas fairly innocuous.

Cut government offices / civil work force by 50% the first year. Most government employees are at home NOT working. Get rid of the Dept of Education first and allow that money to flow to the states. That will give 50 test beds to see who can do it right. Teachers union would soon disappear.

I love how Swalwell talks about it being one of the most Googled things in the last week. A person literally would not have heard of Project 2025 unless it was the Dems bitching about it and trying to attach Trump and anyone else they don't like to it's Hitler like ideas.

This, unfortunately, is neither possible nor reasonable.

How about ZERO growth in either number or expense of federal jobs for a year. Then maybe bleed off jobs through attrition. 50% reduction would likely throw the economy into a recession if not a depression. The sheer number of Federal Employees is too large for the private sector to absorb all at once.

For what it's worth, at this point in the last cycle (2020), the odds makers had Biden a +20.3 favorite (Biden - 58.3% to Trump - 38.0%). Which is mindboggling thinking back on it.

They were all completely correct. At this point, everybody outside of the deluded agrees that Trump has severe mental issues.

As far as "wrecking the country is concerned"... he GREATLY inflamed the public discourse. And while things have certainly cooled with him out of office, we're still nowhere near where we were prior. We don't need Trolls in the White House. Age doesn't really matter as long as cognition is at 100%, kinda like a Dr. Fauci.
