No, Trump is no clown. He's an extremely capable conservative needed in a time when conservatism is under relentless attack like it has never been before, to the extent that it may be too late. But if it is too late, I want the conservatives to go down fighting to save their country, not just laying down and handing the keys over to power hungry socialist elites.
There is not a single Republican that can win the next election that given two terms could accomplish 1/4th of what Trump did in a single term. Prove me wrong and name the powerful, charismatic Republican you desire so much that has the resilience and experience to push a conservative agenda through while being relentlessly attacked by the leftist hate machine.
If you are willing to look past the personality and actually recognize what Trump DID during his first tenure, you would recognize that he pushed a pretty remarkable conservative agenda with stunning pace.
- He probably saved our Republic for at least a generation by replacing the Federal judiciary at a pace never before seen -- with conservative judges.
- He tilted the Supreme Court right.
- He started to solve the human crisis problem that has been created and fomented by the Democrats at the border.
- His economy was stunning before Covid (could you imagine if we still had Obama's economy when Covid hit)?
- He called out Fauci when he stepped over the line.
- He began a responsible draw-down of our troops from Afghanistan.
- He had some key players in the Middle East in peace talk negotiations for the first time in how many decades?
- He got NATO to start stepping up to the plate financially.
- He got the Obamacare ultimatum dropped.
- He got more votes than any Republican in history. And he was absolutely correct that the last election was being heavily interfered with.
These are off the top of my head. A simple Google search would allow me to go on and on and on ... all while being under relentless attack by colluding Democrat party liars, leftist media, leftist social media, and deep state actors that made legal accusations under false pretenses -- all beginning before Trump even took the Oath of Office.
But oh, "he was too mean on Twitter". Or, "he's just too arrogant". Or, [insert some other frivolous argument].
