If Trump wins this election it will be the most shocking thing I have ever seen. It will defy all logic and common sense. The only explanation will be that enough Democrats who've been hurt by the lockdowns/restrictions will silently vote for him. The older Democrats.
If Trump wins I will be relieved and annoyed.
I will be entertained watching the Libs/Socialists light themselves on fire.
I will promptly go out and buy the biggest ****ing set of ear plugs I can find and stick them in my ears for 4 years.
I will worry endlessly about what will happen NOW with our country and the pandemic as Trump will feel he has a new mandate to continue on with his response... which. has. been. shitty.

The title of my thread was changed! How apropos! It must be an omen... You see, I've been having an internal dialogue with myself the last couple days; going back and forth; debating over what would be my limit; what would it take for me to **** around and do something really stupid on Tuesday.
Perhaps I've just found my answer.

Can you imagine the alternate universe where threatening to fire a man of this caliber after 52 blemish-free years on the job is normal?
We have lost our way.

And, he should be fired. If I were as wrong or flip flopped as often as he has I’d be fired too.

It is Trafalgar Versus the Polling World
The author decided to take several polling firms that had conducted polls in several of the battleground states and to put their predictions into a map as to what they think the result is going to be. I was able to get maps together for New York Times/Siena, CBS/YouGov, Fox News, Rasmussen, and the underdog, Trafalgar.
His electoral results for each of these poll takers:
New York Times/Siena: Biden/Harris 373 - Trump/Pence 163 - Toss/Ups 2
Fox News: Biden/Harris 358 - Trump/Pence 143 - Toss/Ups 37
CBS/You Gov: Biden/Harris 333 - Trump/Pence 181 - Toss/Ups 24
Rasmussen: Biden/Harris 302 - Trump/Pence 202 - Toss/Ups 34
Trafalgar: Biden/Harris 242 - Trump/Pence 268 - Toss/Ups 28

I consider Fauci to be the expert on 1 subject matter. Just as general's are experts on 1 matter. So if Trump asks Eisenhower, 'What is the best way to ensure Iran is no longer a threat to the globe?'. If Ike tells him to drop 25 thermonuclear bombs on the country, should Trump do it? I mean, Ike is the greatest general ever. Why would he not take his advice? If he is serous about putting Iran out of commission, why doesn't he nuke them?
Well, because Trump has to weigh a thousand factors in making policy. Fauci has to weigh 1. His goal is ending the virus. Trump has to do what he thinks is best for the country as a whole.
I guess if one is already prone to blame Trump for everything, it's easy to do so. Personally, I am not really sure what presidents have the power to do in natural disasters. And quite honestly, I'm on the side that thinks that is a good thing for the United States. I don't want Trump or any other president to have the power to take the kind of control that the leftists think he should have taken. It makes sense, coming from people that are perfectly fine with giving a president not named Trump unprecedented power over their lives, they would expect Trump to solve all their problems, regardless of what they are. I mean, when your political goddesses say they are going to lower the ocean levels and green new deals, etc why wouldn't they have unreasonable expectations of what government can do.
