You'd think that this would have been really easy for them to just say what they want to do and that would be good enough.
Look at the popular vote. Look at the electoral college when it’s all said and done. The American people spoke and the majority did not want another four years of President Trump.

It is difficult to defeat a sitting president.

It looks ever more likely that Donald Trump will become the first one term president in over 25 years.

There are no credible claims of election fraud in PA.

Georgia and Arizona are both run by Republicans and Trump is losing there as well.

PA has a history of voter fraud issues.

GOP doesn’t run the ATL area.

AZ and NV, I have no idea what those states are doing.

        • Remember when Trump stated there was fraud in the 2016 election, launched a commission to investigate it, and literally nothing came of it? Me too.

The Secretary of State is in charge of elections in Georgia. That position is currently held by Brad Raffensperger, a republican.

Again, there are no credible claims of election fraud in PA.

            • I don't know if there is fraud going on or not. But if Trump wants to file 10 million lawsuits and make a fool of himself if there isn't, he is free to do so. Just adjudicate it quickly, tell him he's full of **** and send him on his way. I see a bunch of crap that looks fishy. Is it real? I dunno. I don't know who to believe anymore. And quite frankly I don't care. But regardless, we need to make sure this is fixed before the next time. If Biden wants to bring the country together, this may be the way to go. You start standardizing elections for federal offices. If that means a constitutional amendment, then so be it. Start the process. We can't do this crap every 4 years.

We wouldn't be at this point if we had a government that was in it for the people instead of themselves. Because there wouldn't be anything in it for the politicians. And we're never going to be at that point ever so, I guess it doesn't really matter anyway does it?

The fact that many of these ballots were baseless leads to one inevitable conclusion; time to have another election. Just. Like. In. Socialist. Countries. These go****n Snowflakes have turned us into a Banana Republic. ; D

Dude, you really need to get in touch with a hobby. Music, yoga, woodcarving are all good starts. This Qanon LARP cult you are a part of is not contributing positively to your mental health. If you are concerned about the health and welfare of children I can point you to some organizations that are doing good work in that arena that would appreciate your time and talents, provided you stay grounded in the real concerns of exploited and abused children, of which there are many.

Their adrenochrome harvested by Democrats and then roasted in Moloch's fires is not one.

I would venture the States' Rights crowd would object to federalizing the election process. Record setting turnout was good to see, both camps turned out their voters.

And as a Kansan, I can see that argument. Pennsylvania should be able to send to the senate and send electors for president whoever the hell Pennsylvania wants.

If there is election fraud and the campaign has proof then it should absolutely be brought to light and taken to court. I don't think anyone would argue his right to do so.

Maybe it would be a good idea to tone down the rhetoric then?

We should always look to improve processes where we can but the idea that there is widespread election fraud in this country is not based in reality. I find your lack of faith in American democracy disturbing.

My hope for a potential Biden presidency is that he will attempt to bring the country together as much as possible. Obviously it's not going to happen overnight and will require effort from the citizens.

Biden will win the popular vote by 4 million plus and may ultimately gain a definitive victory in the electoral college. However, a lot of people voted for Trump. I think it is a mistake to dismiss those voters as "racists or idiots". Call me naive but I just can't believe that is true. So, I think the challenge for a potential Biden administration, and for democrats in general, is to attempt to understand and even empathize with those people and figure out what can be done to make them feel included. I'm not talking the conspiracy touting fringe nut cases, those people are beyond hope.

Trump has used disinformation, bluffing, and lawsuits his entire business career. It's no surprise he's doing so now. In one way, he is a very truthful person in that if he says he's going to do something, he usually does it. He's said all along that he might not accept the results of the election, and he darn well is making good on that common rally message. Essentially he's seeing how things shake out and trying to leverage the chaos into a narrative he can use for his own gain. It's always been about Trump which was okay when he was working for us at the same time. Now he's just positioning himself for the next chapter while absorbing a little more attention before the lights are turned out on him for good.

P.S. The part about not knowing what to believe any more will pass. I went through that before my logic violently flushed me out of the Matrix battery pod and back into the "real". Most on this board are effectively brainwashed by Trump's magic act. A time will come when most if not all will look back and shake their heads in disbelief over what (and who) they were led to believe. I put most of the blame on conservative talk show hosts. Glenn Beck and to a lesser extent, Ben Shapiro tried to fight the tide, but they learned early on, it's either go with the flow, or go out of business. Trump is very skilled at manipulating a message in his favor. He's just run out of air-time now and reality has caught up with him. Had he not bungled Covid, he would have won reelection easily.

I don't know if election fraud can be proven or not. However, for you to not be uncomfortable with some of the shenanigans that have happened in Philly (laws were broken when election overseers from only the Republican Party were not allowed within 6' of the vote counting like it says in the law) and elsewhere, says more about you than ShockerPrez. Republican poll watchers were sent out on video so that shows some proof of illegal activities and possible vote cheating. Why would the Philly worker (i assume he is a Democrat from his words) send them out?

The 4 million popular vote you mention means nothing when you consider that California legally allows vote harvesting (no one cares because they know that California's electoral votes will go to the Democrat Presidential candidate). That is just a legal form of cheating and if the vote was close, would very likely be struck down by the courts.

While Trump is unlikely to get anywhere with his methods, the willingness to overlook illegal voter problems speaks more about the "woke" crowd and their willingness, no propensity is the correct word, to force their opinions on others. That is also what Russia, China, and Cuba do.

There are a lot of inflamed racial sensibilities thanks to both parties and the media. There were racists before 2016, and there likely are even more now. Republicans obviously have more (white) racists in their camp.

Biden's first job, if he wants to have a chance in calming the populace, will be to STOP IDENTIFYING EVERY PROBLEM, EVERY PERSON, BY THEIR RACE. We need the term race banned from public discourse from now on. We are ALL ****ING AMERICANS regardless of our appearance.

Somebody has got to take the high road on this issue, perhaps Biden is cognitively impaired - just enough - to get it done. It's an addictive political heroin though as fanning the racial flames wins elections. We'll see.

The reason they didn't let in more overseers is because they were already full with the requisite Dim/Repub watchers. Turn off Hannity bro. Give yourself a chance to even see the caboose of the reality train in the near future.

There was a moment in time early this year when Trump came out and gave a speech about how we are going to take the virus seriously and take all the necessary steps to fight it, etc. etc. I was blown away. He sounded like a different person. He sounded like a president. I remember thinking at the time that this would be his 9/11 moment where he brought the country together against a common enemy. I thought, maybe I had him pegged wrong. If he can act this way in the face of a crisis then maybe it's not outside the realm of possibility for him to earn my vote. Of course we know what happened like less than 24 hours later. He turned back into a pumpkin.
