If Trump had fudged on his taxes, we would have known this probably decades ago, not to mention before his election. You can't tell me that there haven't been dozens of partisan IRS agents with access to the information (and didn't disclose them because, yeah, pretty sure there are laws against this) scouring it with a fine tooth comb. The state of NY probably audits him every year to ensure they are getting their cut.

This is a bigger nothing burger than Russia collusion. No one cares. Libs screaming about this crap is just another Sunday dessert.

Now do Obama and tell us where he got all of his money. Or Biden, or all of the other 'civil servants' who have dedicated their lives to the public good and end up millionaires out of the bigness of their hearts.

This is such a huge nothing burger it is hilarious!!! I can tell you from first hand knowledge (dealing with wealthy real estate developers / investors on an almost daily basis) that they can all avoid or minimize their tax liabilities in a variety of legal ways. It is how the tax code is written and their is absolutely nothing shady or illegal about it. This is absolutely another attempted smear campaign and anyone with half a brain can see it. The ignorant left will eat this up because they are either blinded by rage or uneducated, or both. It will have zero effect on the moderate "swing" voters.

Wow! Libtards melting on live camera as they thought they would carry the baton on the NYT Trump hit piece, but the tax attorney shredded their agenda into truth confetti. LMAO!

Dude tried to concede at the end that Trump didn't do anything illegal, but he's just a bad businessman. The tax attorney wouldn't even let him have that.... Hahahahaha!

If Libs have a problem with this, then maybe we should all sit down and agree that we don't like the government forming tax policy on the basis of controlling behavior. Because that is how you get people with money not paying what some think is their 'fair share' and regular folks working 9-5's having to pay taxes on income. If you want tax policy that is designed to pay for necessary government services, then the tax code needs to be reworked.

It's interesting that we actually have a millionaire businessman who has gotten into politics. All or almost all of our past modern Presidents were Politicians who became millionaires inluding Obama.

What these dimwits don't understand is that these guys don't hold these huge real estate developments and investments personally. They are held through Special Purpose Entities (likely and LLC) where any income and expenses flow. The only time he would need to pay taxes is if there is a K-1 distribution to him personally or to his personal trust. If he doesn't take a distribution, there is no income to tax. If he donates his salary to charity, again no income to tax. If he divested of his business interests when he became president he could have had some carryover losses that he is spreading out over several years, essentially giving him a negative taxable income, again no taxes.

Exactly. Another reason they hate him. He is shedding light on the crookedness. The lifetime politicians don't want their schemes to get out. #draintheswamp

                    • LOL!! How convenient. WaPo now saying that if the election comes down to the Supreme Court that Justice Thomas should recuse himself. Particularly convenient if ACB doesn't get confirmed prior to the election and there are only 8 members.

Bingo. And I would say the tax attorney probably only did a so-so job with her explanations but I know she was trying to dumb it down for her questioners. No doubt Trump's return is a massive monster that would be absolutely gobbledygook to the vast majority of people. What would be interesting to know is how much are President Trumps tax return preparation costs per year. Now that might be a shocking number.

                          • Biden leads by 10 points as majority of Americans say Trump could have avoided coronavirus

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Democrat Joe Biden opened his widest lead in a month in the U.S. presidential race after President Donald Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, and a majority of Americans think Trump could have avoided infection if he had taken the virus more seriously, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Sunday.
I think this is curtains for Mr. Trump. Before his first term he was an unknown commodity as a president. Nobody really thought he was going to continue to be Trump once he got into office. "The office makes the man" they would say......

The people voting for Trump this time around will be wide-eyed going into that booth. For many, particularly the ones that have lost love for the orange man, they will likely avoid the booth altogether.

What I'm focusing on now is how to position myself in the futures market as the night unfolds. There will be opportunity for great riches and great indigence.

Maybe I shouldn't drink on election day...

                            • Heard a montage of media quotes from October of 2016 today about how Trump had already lost the election and there was no way he would win. It was just about the funniest thing I had ever heard. Seems VERY similar to what I see today. Can't wait...
